Pomona Bail Bonds Process.

The city of Pomona lies in the County of Los Angeles and follow the same rules and guidelines as the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the booking and jail release process. When someone is arrested in the city of Pomona they will usually be taken to the Pomona Police Department, which is located at 490 W Mission Blvd, Pomona, CA 91766, unless the defendant suffers from a serious medical condition.

 

When the defendant arrives at the jail, he or she will be booked and added to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Database. After the inmate is booked, he or she will then be taken to complete the fingerprinting process, which is done via a machine called the LiveScan machine. The purpose of this crucial step is so that the jailer could determine if the defendant has any outstanding warrants or is wanted by any other agency in the country. The jailer cannot clear any inmate for bail until he or she receives the results from the scan.

 

This means that our agent cannot turn in the paperwork until the jailer receives the results and clears the inmate for bail. However, once the inmate is cleared for bail, our agent will turn in the paperwork and your loved one will be released to your custody in about half an hour. Once this is all completed, the bail bondsman will hand you or the defendant an official receipt that states all of the charges that the defendant was charged with, a court date, time, and the address of the courthouse the defendant was assigned to.

 

It is important that the defendant shows up to court and our agent will keep in contact with you or the defendant to make sure he or she is on track and will be able to attend court.
