Pomona Mother and Daughter Arrested

Officials arrested a mother and daughter from Pomona on Saturday in connection with a Hacienda Heights residential burglary. The Mother was identified as Deana Stanley, 48, and the daughter was identified as Maria Tucker, 30. The two were booked on suspicion of burglary, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to commit burglary, according to officials in charge of this case. A witness called deputies at about eight at night after seeing intruders inside a neighbor’s home in the 1500 block of Flamstead Drive. The burglars were gone when police arrived, but the tipster was able to provide them with a description of the burglar’s car. Pomona police found the car the next day parked outside a home on Gordon Street in Pomona. Police arrested the two women and served a search warrant at their home, where they recovered all of the jewelry and other items that were stolen from the home in Hacienda Heights. This story exemplifies the importance of having a neighborhood watch in every neighborhood. If it wasn’t for the neighbor that called the police, these two women would have never been found and the victim’s belongings would be lost forever.
